LOUIS ROEDERER DISCOVERY AWARD
Since their creation, the Rencontres d'Arles have defended photography and all of its actors. The galleries naturally find their place within the festival. Indeed, by their work of clearing, they are often the first to identify the talents of tomorrow. Of the 200 proposals received, 10 projects were selected. They are each exhibited. During the opening week, a jury awards an artist and his gallery through an acquisition of 15,000 euros, while the public designates its laureate through an acquisition of 5,000 euros.
